Alcohol & Drug Education Course

The YESS Alcohol & Drug Education Course is an educational program designed to increase awareness of alcohol and drug use, substance-related risks, responsible decision-making, and personal accountability. Participants will learn about the effects of alcohol and other substances on the brain and body, the progression of substance use, warning signs of problematic use, risk-reduction strategies, impaired driving prevention, healthy coping skills, treatment and recovery resources, and the importance of complying with court or referring-agency requirements. The course includes educational lessons, reflection activities, knowledge checks, module assessments, and a comprehensive final assessment. Successful completion of all assigned requirements is required before a Certificate of Completion is issued.
